This session will deep dive into the critical issue of Cybersecurity in the Global Mobility Supply Chain. As Global Mobility practitioners we are the guardians of highly sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of the employees we move. Not only are we responsible for its safekeeping, but our company is also liable for how we handle it, and how the vendors we partner with handle it. The risks of mismanagement are significant: A data breach by a vendor or downstream vendor in the supply chain can result in loss of employee trust, time-consuming investigations, embarrassing PR, required breach reporting to authorities and the real risk of financial penalties up to $20m.
