2022 Spring Conference Virtual Event
Approximate Session Duration: 40 minutes
CE Credits Available: 1 CRP, 1 GMS
Description:
Worldwide ERC Public Policy Forums are a series of consecutive 30-minute sessions, each focused on one of the four key policy areas impacting mobility: Real Estate, Immigration, Tax and Compliance. Join us as we look at how the rise in telecommuting during COVID-19 has transitioned into long-term increases in remote work. This trend has a substantial tax implication for employers, employees and city and state governments as workers perform their jobs across state lines. With states ending their COVID relief provisions, employees, employers and governments need to adopt long-term plans. The global workforce is similarly affected. We will also take you through the impact remote works have on the global workforce. We will wrap up the time with a quick status update on Global Minimum Tax, the state of our IRS problems, and tips to consider adopting in 2022.
