2024 U.S.
Presidential Elections & Ramifications for Employment-Based Immigration
Webinar
With the 2024
U.S. presidential election season in full swing, immigration remains a top-tier
election issue for both the candidates and potential voters. Depending on the
outcome of the election, a new administration will take office and could bring
with it policies and practices that will impact how U.S. employers utilize a
range of employment-based immigration options and maintain compliance with
various immigration requirements. During this session, leading immigration
and policy experts, including Kelli Duehning from BAL and Bo Cooper from
Fragomen, will discuss the immigration-related positions of former President
Donald Trump (R) and Vice President Kamala Harris (D), how lessons from the
Trump and Biden administrations could help mobility practitioners understand
what could potentially occur in a new administration, and how mobility
practitioners and their companies can start planning now to prepare for the
possible impacts of a new administration in 2025 and beyond.
